NTM Sensors Announces NTM Hydrogen Alarm System

NTM Sensors, a division of NexTech Materials, Ltd., is pleased to announce an innovative new product, NTM Hydrogen Alarm System, a complete hydrogen monitoring solution. The alarm system is provided with the innovative NTM SenseH2TM hydrogen sensor and all system components required for a safe, reliable, and simple installation. The NTM Alarm System detects and alarms when the hydrogen level reach 1% and 2% with LED lights, an audible alarm and two external relays that can activate separate ventilation system or external alarms/lights. The Alarm System is the second of several new commercial products under development by NexTech Materials, Ltd. and sold by NTM Sensors.
Unlike most other hydrogen monitoring systems, NTM Alarm System has a separate sensor unit from the actual alarm box. This allows the alarm box to be mounted in an easily visible and accessible location while the hydrogen sensor can be placed in a space where hydrogen is more likely to accumulate, even if it is difficult to access. There are other gas monitoring systems that also have separate sensor units, but most other systems use inexpensive gas sensors that are not selective to hydrogen gas and can cause false alarms from other gases. NTM Alarm Box uses the innovative NTM SenseH2TM hydrogen sensor that incorporates patent-pending chemi-resistive ceramic technology which results in high selectivity, rapid response and recovery, and accuracy over a wide range of temperature and humidity.
