NTM Sensors- Technologically Advanced H2 Gas Sensors
Most "Hydrogen Sensors" Are Not True Hydrogen Sensors
Most hydrogen sensors on the market today are flammable gas sensors that can react to any flammable gas such as carbon monoxide, propane, gasoline fumes, etc. They can cause false alarms by falsely reporting a presence of hydrogen where none exist. Our NTM SenseH2® hydrogen sensor is based on unique chemi-resistive sensing technology that is highly sensitive to hydrogen, but does not react to other flammable gases.
NTM SenseH2® Hydrogen Sensors Offer Superior Performance
Features of the sensor include:
• Superior performance in humid environments
• Detection within a variety of flows
• Continued Operation in a wide temperature range
• Rapid response and recovery times

UL Classified, ATEX, CE for hazardous locations
The sensor meets all requirements for use in Class l, Division 2 and Zone 2 hazardous locations per the UL60079-15 and EN60079-15 standards, and has been officially certified by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and can be found in the UL database. It should be noted that very few competitive hydrogen sensors on the market today have a UL label, much less UL recognition for hazardous locations. The best way to check if a sensor is officially recognized by UL is to go to the UL website and check the database.
Recently, NexTech Materials, Ltd. and its divisions including NTM Sensors have been awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification for their quality management system. This voluntary and prestigious registration is recognized on a worldwide level as being the benchmark for quality standards within an organization. The ISO 9001:2008 certification demonstrates NTM Sensors' passion and uncompromising commitment to making quality sensing products and providing first rate services to our customers. NexTech’s vision is to be a global leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative products for energy and environmental markets.
